Hello, Mumbai!
A new job. A new desk. New people. I feel so unfamiliar. And out of place. The discomfort felt on being away from home has taken over me.
But I am happy about the new desk. The new opportunities. And more than that the new location. Fort.
This place used to be the heart of Mumbai during the eighteenth century. This business district is swamped with old colonial buildings. Some of them had a significant status in history while some are just manifestations of primitive living. Well, vital or not, all these structures look mesmeric as they depict the grand architecture of those times.
I love being surrounded by history. Just a walk in these lanes and I am transported to the olden era, when the Brits ruled us. I imagine how life would've been then... The people, the lifestyle, the business, the society, the food, the clothes and the language... A little less evolved, a little more peaceful.
The glorious streets and intersections here are used by millions of Mumbaikars every day. I thoroughly enjoy my walk from the CST to the new office. Though it barely lasts 10 minutes, but it makes me realize that it is not just I, who has been residing in this city since 24 years, but the city, too, has been living, breathing inside me.
Oftentimes, it takes something new to help you connect with something old that was maybe forgotten.

Happy Women's Day! Really?
I saw a women’s day parade happening near Ghatkopar Station on 8th
March, around 4:30 in the evening. For the first time on that day, I could feel
the spirit of International Women’s Day, and was pretty happy that ladies are coming out and celebrating womanhood.
Girls will find it disgusting, but they won't find it surprising because all of them have faced this and even worse already. Guys, on the other hand, may not justify this creep, but will ask me to be more cautious and careful.
There is worst that has happened in the past so I am really glad that this guy did not touch me and simply left after the comment. But why even that comment? Why is it so common? Why should I take it?
I know, people will agree that it is unacceptable, but we women still have to accept it! We have no other option, do we? Eve teasing, molestation, lewd comments and rapes are all a part of our society now. And it not just resides in a single part or area of the society, but is scattered all over.
I have nothing new to say. It's all been said and done. Feminists have been voicing their opinion against this. Men, on the other hand, have been constantly displaying their annoyance towards women generalizing on the basis of these dirty acts of some males.
There is so much I wish to say. There are so many emotions gushing inside me. But I choose not to say anything anymore. At least, not at the moment. Because I know it will all fall on deaf ears. No one can help me. This is going to happen to me again. This has been happening and will continue to happen with my girl friends, my mum, my sisters, my daughter and all other women I know and do not know. I can't do anything to help them. I can't do anything to help me.
These safety apps, helpline numbers, pepper spray and other little weapons are not always helpful. The ogling won't stop. If you are a female, every of your body part will be minutely examined even when when it is convered with layers of cloth, and you cannot do anything about it. There always will be lecherous eyes lurking around. Deal with it!

That copywriter chick - 2
When the shitrail thing happened with me, I was so agitated, I wanted to tell everyone that a thing as gross as this really happens in Mumbai. I wrote a blog and published it on social media as well, and as a co-incidence a small weekly that is run by a bunch of journalism students in Delhi, contacted me for similar kind of articles. I gave them the link to my blogpost, they liked it enough to publish it in their newspaper on the next day. I shared that as well on FB and twitter, and got a good deal of appreciation for it.
People from the same field won't consider it to be an accomplishment while those not from this industry regard this as a great achievement. As for me, this is just another step towards becoming all those things that I had dreamed to be as a child and that I wish to be now.
Current Playlist:
Jolene - Miley Cyrus
Pimpin smokin dro (Hardwell mix)
If I lose myself - Alesso vs. One Republic
Thousand years - Christina Perry
Chaudhry - Amit Trivedi vs. Mame Khan
Kattey - Ram Sampat, Hard Kaur and Bhanvari Devi
Also, there was an ad contest I wanted to partake in, but I did not have a motivated team. I can write, but I can't design ads, so there went my opportunity to do some good work.
Nevertheless, I am hoping to do some good proactive work in the coming days, and I am hoping that my team actively supports me.
One other thing that I have learned now is that if you don't have an enthusiastic creative partner, you cannot think of participating in contests, let alone winning them!
I have also been doing some travel writing in the meanwhile. Waiting for it to get published now.
I have realized and am slowly accepting the fact that I am more of a writer than a copywriter. This does not mean that I am not going to be a good copywriter, it just means that I will be writing a lot of other things along with ads and marketing collateral.

Pre-Christmas Celebration at Bandra
Yes, I went to Bandra again yesterday! That place is blooming with the Christmas Spirit. Just day before yesterday I blogged about the awesome festive decorations being sold on every nook and cranny of that place, and then yesterday, adding to my delight, there was a Christmas parade happening. All the Christmas carols and songs being played, fake snow being sprayed on the people around, distribution of chocolates and gifts, everyone wearing Santa caps, entertaining acts, and so much more took place there.
I was so glad to be there and witness the enchantment of the season. Thanks to my friend who made a plan to go there otherwise I had planned on staying in yesterday.
Also, wherever we went yesterday, we could hear the Christmas carols being sung or played. It gave me such a celestial and rapturous feeling being around such joyful merrymaking!

On a cold Saturday...
It's not a secret that winter is my favorite season, but I would still love to say it again that I love, simply love, winter!
This year, Mumbai is actually cold during winter!
Oh my my... how happy this chilliness makes me! :D
Anyway,
Those moments when you don't wish to feel about certain people in a certain way because you know that it's unfair to be so negative towards them. But, you still continue to hold those little grudges for that little while, and justify doing so by calling it normal human behavior. However, that excuse doesn't really help you from not feeling guilty about feeling negative about them... because, in your heart, you know you are being unfair!
Christmas is almost here! Yay! I have no special plans. Doesn't mean I'm not allowed to feel special about it!
They had amazing decorative items and adornments in this little roadside shop. In fact, there were many hawkers also selling baubles and other cute things in Bandra. It was so Christmas-y and positive and blissful being there today, surrounded by the festive spirit. Loved it!
Also,
I don't understand why they call monsoon as the 'season of love and romance' when it should actually be winter! How can you not find this weather the most romantic, the most loving climate ever?
(Yes, love and romance are two very, very different things!)
Twitter is addictive! Very much.
Adieu bloggy doggy! See you soon. :*

Mixed Fruit Salad.
I don’t know what to do with myself! Procrastination has its
roots stuck deep inside of me!
Anyway,
I should get back to work now and maybe pop another Crocin!
I've read a lot of articles on most writers being a victim
to procrastination but I don’t want to be in that writers’ list or at least not
in the first hundred.
Solution: Kill the laziness.
I’m feeling sick, physically and mentally.
This Sunday was fun. I miss Winter.
One thing I noticed, sometimes you tend to say things just
for the heck of it, to have a conversation going. At that time you feel what am
I saying, do I even mean it, do I agree with myself, why am I talking like that.
But, later you’ll realize, it was your sub-conscious mind speaking and it will
all make sense then. And perhaps, you might be embarrassed that you revealed
your true and hidden feelings out in the open.
I like working in the nights with light music playing along. I like blogging while doing so.
I like working in the nights with light music playing along. I like blogging while doing so.
You know an eyelash cannot actually fulfill that big dream, that wish of yours but still sometimes out of hope you like to believe that it will do so, and you softly blow it from the back of your palm, which I just got to know is also known as 'Opisthenar'.
What is life without hope? Death, maybe (I know that was a rhetorical question I stated but the answer just came to me instantly.)
Music at the moment:
Life is Short
Since you've been around
Daddy Cool
Here is a heart
Scratch
Other side of the world
The dog song
(Yes, these are the same old numbers I like.)
There's maddening traffic everyday in Mumbai. Traffic that doesn't allow any vehicle to move for hours! It's becoming difficult to cope with travelling in this city now.

NO HORN OK PLEASE
What is it with Mumbaikars and honking?
Okay so, you are stuck in traffic and want to reach some
place urgently so you start honking like mad. For once, please notice that
others are also stuck in the same traffic, and the person driving the vehicle
ahead of you is not having the time of his life in that situation.
Stop creating unnecessary noise pollution you fucking
moron!!
MONSOON GO SOON
Due to rains, all autowalas have become very pricey, quite
literally also. I’m so mad at these autowalas; they think of themselves as the
kings of Mumbai, which they are not! I badly need a Vespa now.
Soon I shall get one for myself post monsoon.

When there's always someone or the other to talk to, you feel suffocated by the presence of too many in your life.
When there's no one available to covey your feelings or vent out your emotions or just talk aimlessly, you feel suffocated due to the presence of that emptiness in your life.
Strange aren't we, never satisfied.
And then,
No matter how hard you try to fit in, you just can't because you are not meant to be one of them so isn't it advisable to just be yourself. "Be yourself", as easy as it is to say these two profound words, it is as difficult to always inculcate it in life, per se!
Currently listening to:
Greyhound- Swedish House Mafia
Diamonds- Rihanna
Levels- Avicii
Perfect- Pink (speaks to my heart, always)
Cold Addiction- Day of fire
Coastal cities- Relief
I've observed, eventually everything boils down to acceptance. What you do has to be accepted, how you do it has to accepted, when you do it has to be accepted... all in all, You have to be accepted!
By whom? That's subjective but it'll always be this one person or if not that, society.
People may deny the importance of acceptance but it is one of the fundamental characteristics of human nature and behavior.
Being a people pleaser and not being able to say no, leads to identity crises or rather adds to it!
I'd gone for the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon- Dream run, on the 20th of this month. It was awesome. With the enormous crowd. different types of music playing loud and various vibrant colors around, I could truly feel the spirit of Mumbai.
People from certain NGO's promoting their objects, brands and big corporates promoting their products, people supporting causes, Delhi rape protesters, people participating just for fun, people participating for fitness and health, people participating to experience being part of the marathon, people participating for showing off their status and money, disabled people taking part to motivate themselves and others and to feel more alive, street children and beggars just running along asking for free water bottles, money and food... Mumbai was on the streets!

one by two
Office.
Sometimes its just us, we over-think. The other person is not always the bad guy.
People are not that difficult to deal with, we make ourselves believe that they are. I know, I too have umpteen times said that its not a cinch being around people rather being happy around them but eventually I always realize it never was a big deal.
Another thing that got me thinking was, whether to say it out or not?
For say, when having a conversation with a bunch of people, you have so many things in head that you can say but you choose to stay mum. How does it matter if you speak your heart?
Now, there are countless reasons why you don't say it but for how long will this continue?
There will be a time when you'll stop not talking, when you'll start being yourself. So why not do it right away!
I think I shouldn't have done it, that thing. But now, it's all said and done so rather than fretting about it, I should do something constructive.
Home.
Feel, speak, enjoy, love, live, cry, suffer, make mistakes, be outrageous, apologize, learn, discover yourself!
Now is what we have. Who knows world might really end on 21/12/12!!
Haha...
What if it actually does?
When you wonder about death, you realize who are the ones that truly matter to you and you would wish to spend more time with them before everything is over.
If believing in 21/12/12 helps you express your love to your loved ones, then you are not as stupid as people would think!
I love Mumbai. People here can be as sweet as bitter they are! Confusing naa?? That's how we are.
Adele-Skyfall. Love it like crazy!
P.S.: I wrote half the post at work but then I got busy so I saved it as a draft and now added more and posted, hence the title!

PEOPLE.
Mood swings are just so absurd! Ugh! I just feel so.... man it's just inexplicable! :S
When you suddenly realize, you are lucky that something you desperately wanted to happen with you, did not happen to you... it is like a little epiphany.
Gosh, I was crazy to even be whining about something so unwanted and unnecessary.
Thanks Mr God, I love you! You Rock! Absolutely.
And, I'm watching 'Father of the bride II' for the 3rd time in past 5days.
Life without movies loses its meaning. ;)
Mathew Perry is cute, I've always liked him.
Why does it get so difficult to handle people and their emotions?! I sometimes feel it's better to avoid them but then if I do so, I end up being a bitch which feels awful enough.
I always have been a people pleaser, someone who's always in the loop but since quite a long time I've kinda stopped caring about others. You may think I've turned selfish but not caring about others doesn't mean I care more about myself because a few of these 'others' are some of the very important people of my life and me being reckless and not being able to maintain things with them has put them away from me which is not any sort of gain for me but strangely I've been so lost that I don't miss them and this has stopped affecting me, it's bad but that's how it is now.
No, I am not depressed or in the blues. I am doing good. It's just how I've become.
There's a friend of mine who also has been going through something similar or it is at least how I think. His other friends don't get him, they fail to understand why suddenly he's turned reclusive but the truth is he's not closed up or reticent; this is just how he has become over the time. You can blame the circumstances or situations if want to but he's not culpable. People change with time, you know, if not all at least some of them do and it's not bad or sad, not even a bit.
I hate hate hate and simple hate extremely judgmental and critical people! Ugh... Good God, why do I even talk to them?! Why do I even know them?! If the world is not running according to them, it's wrong and they mock it off! Damn are they annoying or not! Screw you suckers!! *gasp*
And,
Mumbai rains are truly pleasant in the nights (of course, when I'm indoors). :)
It's my life- Bon Jovi
Miss you- Enrique

My POV!
Was watching 'Mere yaar ki shaadi hai' on Max yesterday, at this time.
I guess I was in 8th grade when the movie came out and since then each time it's been on TV and I've had the knowledge of it, I've seen it. In short, I love the movie!
YashRaj Movies are always worth watching... even if the script sucks, the locations and the cinematography wins you over!
Anyway so,
'Ek ladka aur ladki kabhi dost nai ho sakte...' , a discussion that goes on between Riya and Sanjay in the very start of the movie.
Hmmm... I guess everyone would've had this discussion with a friend, at least once.
As much as I hate to admit, the statement is not completely false!
Why?
I don't know... May be because everyone is so keen on looking for love every where that they even start considering their best friends.
Perhaps I'm wrong but it's just a personal observation.
Actually, it's the movies that are more culpable here, I mean for eg.,
'Made of honor', 'Ek main aur ek tu', 'Sky high', 'My best friend's wedding', 'Some kind of wonderful', etc etc etc.
All of them promote the subject of best friends falling in love.
Okay so, is it a thumb rule that if you have a best friend from the opposite sex (and otherwise in case of homosexuals) and that friend understands you well, you are in frequent touch with that friend and you like the company... you have to date that friend?!
All of this is too subjective and situational.
Actually, the society since the very beginning has always accepted a boy either as a brother or as a husband to a girl. Though the people have become open-minded about the 'friendship' aspect between a boy and a girl, with time but still some remnants of ancient orthodoxical and narrow-minded beliefs haven't vacated the human minds yet!
And, the struggle is still on...
Listening to Lost by Coldplay... Love it!
Basshunter- First time I heard the song was few days before the Taj-terror attack and each time I listen to the song, those visuals of terrorists firing at CST, Grenade explosions from the hotel windows and the blood shed, start running in my head and I get the cold-creeps! I can never forget those 3 terror-filled days, that attack had a huge impact on all the Mumbaikars, I guess... I vividly remember everything that happened in those 3 days. Still get tears in my eyes reminiscing that time.
And, that Goddamn Kasab is still breathing the Indian air!! I mean, I respect the Indian law and order and also the fact that everyone is given an opportunity to be heard and defend themselves here but for heaven's sake, we know he is the culprit, he had ghastly and malicious intentions and also had killed many innocent lives so why the wait?!
Then I think, perhaps this serves him better... let him plead for his life, let him live in the fear of death, let him be all restless and anxious as to what and when will the court decide for him and then finally after all the mental torture, he should be sentenced to death!
All in all, I want him dead, sooner or later!!

Today...
'Bumpy ride' by Mohombi is one of the best groovy track ever! How I love fast dance numbers!! I can really dance all day if I get a chance!
I love Milkybar and Milk treat. White chocolates are yummy! I remember when I was in school, Milkybar was newly introduced and it used to be wrapped in this hard paper cover, on the back of which, there used to be a tiny Milkybar man comic strip. Each time Milkybar man used to eat the bar, he would kick the villain's ass, bad! I loved Milkybar man!
Today, when I was heading back home via a moderately crowded train, I was tired and wanted to sit but all the seats were pre-occupied with 3 females. I started looking around to spot a seat occupied with thinner women so I could get a decent place to sit. I found one and asked the ladies to shift in and make some space for me but they hardly budged, the place offered to me was not even big enough for a 5 yr old but I was so weary that I somehow managed to sit on that edge. I was very pissed and just as I started thinking, how Mumbaikars don't care about each other and why will a stranger's discomfort ever matter to them unless they themselves are at ease.... the lady sitting on the opposite seat noticed me and she asked the other two females sitting next to her to shift in properly, she made enough room and asked me to sit there! God bless that angelic lady! I mean, you can never conclude on Mumbai.... On one hand there are these narcissist people who don't give a damn whatever happens to you and on the other hand there are these compassionate Mumbaikars who try to do something to get you out of a sticky situation!
There are many such little incidences that happen with you everyday that make you feel good and bad about a particular thing at the same time and of course I cannot list out every such event every day, this one was fresh in mind so I decided to put it here.
I miss writing so much! I'll get back as soon as my exams get over. It's been like more than 7 months now that I'd done any assignment. It made me happy! Even the pressure made me feel good about myself. I really miss that feeling a lot!
'In the end it was you' by Kat Deluna - :o)
'Without you' by David Guetta is also amazing!
Have I ever said how much I love 'Friends' and 'Everybody loves Raymond'?! Ohh yess I have, several times!! And, I can say it a million more times... I just can't get bored of them! EVER!!
90 days to go for the exams..... Ciao!

Just rambling...
I desperately need to get a grip now. Not that I am not enjoying my current life-style, in fact I am loving it! That's the reason I am feeling daunted at the moment. I've been pampering myself a lot since long now, it needs to stopped because I'm kinda getting used to this!!
I had an amazing time with one of my cousin today. It's good to spend time with a person, who's not opinionated and presumptuous!
'The Holiday' is a beautiful movie. I love it. Though it is a little fairy-tale-ish.
But then who doesn't like fairy-tales!
Some guys may oppose the statement I just stated above, saying they do not believe in fairy-tales. But, I never mentioned "believing". Which guy wouldn't "LIKE" to have the most gorgeous and rich princess as his lady!! ;) :P
Mumbai has so many different colors to it. Every area in this city gives you a different feel altogether! This city is something else! It's a prodigiously unexpected place to live in... Well, what else can you expect from the city, which is populated so immoderately with umpteen humans, who themselves are by nature, very unpredictable!!
What do you do when despite of spending Rs500 on a dinner, you are still hungry? YOU EAT!!
What else can you do! When you're hungry, you have to pacify the tummy!
(Yeah, this was too random!)
Humma Humma- Evergreen and joyful!!
Hey soul sister- I like. No, Love!!
'Hey soul sister. Ain't that mister mister. On the radio, stereo....' :)) :)
It's still not cold! At least not cold enough to put on my orange sweat-jacket!
Dance- Invigorating, refreshing, joyful, etc etc etc.
I liked 'Rockstar'. Also it's soundtrack is great... "Oh yeah yeah yeah...", "Hawa hawa", "Aur ho"... such superb songs!! For the first time, I've liked an entire bolly movie soundtrack! Mohit Chauhan and A.R. Rehman have proved to be a perfect combo!
It's strange, how most of the times, what I think of blogging is totally different from what I end up blogging!
One of my very good friend is getting married and I guess I've already mentioned it before, her wedding preparations and shopping are on in full swing!! I am thoroughly enjoying being a part of it!
There are so many small rituals that are to be done! The best part is, the bride gets to shop as much as she can! As if the entire world is going to stop producing clothes, shoes and bags within a few days!!
Things are over-hyped! Such exorbitant venues and clothes and jewelry, goodness me!! I am so dumbfounded by looking at all of this!
I mean, the marriage has to be grand such that people remember it up till their world ends! People didn't realize when traditions and rituals were superseded by prestige and social eminence! And now, this is what they say the culture is. It's good to celebrate but only for your own self and not for the heck of societal pressure!
I know these views are good enough to blog about but when you are out there, you become one of them, even if you don't want to! One cannot stay socially dysfunctional for a long time, you know.
Desperately awaiting Christmas!! :) :)

Randomizer...
It's my part of the play now, if I do my role well... I don't know about the reward but self-satisfaction is certain!
'Self-satisfaction', I don't remember if I've ever worked so hard as to satisfy myself?! Hmmm...Anyway, I am still alive and I guess, I am going to be there for long, and there is ALWAYS room for improvement, isn't it?
"I'm into you" by JLo is an AMAZING track, that tune has been continually meandering in my head... :))
It's been raining cats and dogs since 2days now...it's exasperating!
'Friends' and 'Everybody loves Raymond' are the best comedy sitcoms there can ever be. These are invincible!
Challenges- Scary but great experience providers. I believe, challenges can turn into great opportunities provided they are smartly and sincerely dealt with.
Sometimes even extreme weariness doesn't do enough to put you to sleep.
Advises- Available in plethora. Why do people love to advice? Can't they just shut-up and advice only when asked to! You know, sometimes people should just stop putting in their little unasked-for suggestions and let you experience things (whether good or bad) by yourself.
Mumbai's most loved festival 'Ganesh Chaturthi' has almost arrived...looking forward to it :) :)
Except for the traffic part, as along with festivals comes the traffic jam! Traffic in Mumbai has been incessant since past few weeks.
'The way you treat yourself sets the standard for others' - an eminently true quote... I still need to instill this in my life!

Dedicated to: Respectable Mr Anna Hazare
74 years old Anna Hazare is been in Jail for 8 straight days now, without having a morsel! I guess for the first time, I've seen public rallies, awareness and support campaigns and candle marches happening, NOT on account of a terrorist attack or an innocent victim's elongated murder court case! I mean, usually, as per the recent past record, the masses would react so vigorously only on loss of life or lives. Now, people finally realize that social evils like corruption act as slow poison and it's killing a huge part of the populace simultaneously.
Though, I personally have done nothing to support this movement except for promoting this ideology, I hope this movement helps to clean our country a bit at least! Had it not been for this old man's initiative and gallantry, we would have never gone this far too! He has brought in a revolution and a hope for the better future of this country. I salute him and his courage!
There are still many people criticizing him but I fail to understand, how can they not see that he was the only one who stood up, spoke and took actions against corruption while we sat at home, cribbing about our country being in corrupted hands and doing nothing whatsoever!!

13th July 2011, Wednesday, Mumbai- Is there a solution??
Yet another manifestation of terrorism transpired in Mumbai. Three high intensity bomb blasts at Opera House, Dadar (Kabutarkhana) and Zaveri Bazaar between 6:30PM and 7:00PM. 19 dead and 130 severely injured as per the official figures, which we know is always understated. Is there any answer to terrorism? If not then will we ever find one in the future? After the attack, people started blaming the police, the politicians, national security, etc. They might be at fault but blaming them has never helped, I don't know what are we as individuals supposed to do except for talking about this issue, discussing it and expressing disconsolation!
When the colossal 1993 blasts took place, outraged Indians blamed the government and all those who were in authority, it's 2011 now and the chapter of accidents has still not reached its climax! Our anger, helplessness, peace marches, pleas, cries, woes, nothing affected terrorism, it is still destroying us and neither did it affect the people in authority, they are still inefficient at their work and see what their inefficiency can do to us! Whoever wants to run the country is mesmerized and awestruck by the power such positions give but they forget that 'with great power comes great responsibility'. Terrorism is THE MAJOR CHALLENGE that our globe (& not just our city or country) is facing and if the higher authorities and officials (all over the world) are unable to tackle that then what is the point in giving them the power?! We elect them because we think they are capable of managing all the big things that we as individuals cannot.
I am feeling helpless typing this blogpost as this (and the peace march, discussions, etc...) is all that I can do for my Mumbai.

Work and Rains...
A lot of content writing is up this week. Then there’s office, class and also a few other plans. It’s going to be 1 hell of a week. This time, I cannot be late with respect to writing because I have been given a final warning so now on if I take the work; I have to do it ON TIME. No excuses will be entertained. I got pretty apprehensive about this, at first but then I thought, I will have to be responsible and PUNCTUAL someday, right? So why not now! There are so many people who slog butts and work like anything. I mean, work is really worship to them and if they can do it, even I can try!
I am still in love with the song “I just died in your arms tonight, it must have been something you said…” by Smitty.
Traffic jams due to rains, water dripping from the trees, damp hair, wet clothes, shoes soaked in water, mossy surfaces, grey sky, the sound of raindrops falling on the ground, on the umbrellas, raincoats and wind cheaters, crowded vada pav stalls, slow music on the headset and the chaos can make you feel either gloomy or furious or like a lively Mumbaikar or all of these at the same time!!
I really find monsoon gloomy and sad (most of the times). I wonder why people love it so much!! The icky feeling you get when you are almost wet is so repulsive!
Having said all of the above, I still find rains amusing. I am familiar with the water cycle that we were taught in the second grade but rains still seems like magic to me (only when I am indoors)!!

lost sight of articulation...
It's been ages since I've posted anything here. I find my blog rather boring now. I remember how earlier I used to visit my blog and re-read my old posts. May be because previously I used to write about my views and now I write about me and I don't find me interesting. Many a times in the past few days I opened the blog with the intention of writing but whenever I would start to type, I would go blank. I feel I have become less expressive over the days... :(
Although a few assignments have been coming from here and there, they have not been enough so as to satisfy me. Also my work is getting erroneous day by day. What is it? Is it the lethargy, the situation or just me? CONFUSED (as always) !!?!
So, the rains are getting very irksome now. When it should rain, it doesn't and when it should not, it pours heavily!! Well, my own life doesn't go according to me, how can I expect the monsoon to work as per me!!
Right now I am feeling as if I am sitting in a roller coaster, thoughtless and emotionless and the roller coaster is going round and round, it wont stop until I am all set to hurl.
I met some old friends last week. It was fun. I realized that friends can be old or new but friendships are always evergreen. We didn't party nor did we go to some amazing place, it was a normal dinner and a long walk but my happiness on being with them was so huge that it made me enjoy those simple moments more than anything. I guess this what true friends do to you! And, my baby bloomer bloomed a flower after weeks (touchwood), I am very glad this happened !! :))
One thing I hate the most about Mumbai is that people here really can be mean and rude. No one cares even if you get hit by a car, at times. You are the only one who has to be careful about yourself, no one comes to help, you have to be your own help!!
Anyway, I don't have anything more to write now. When the thoughts in your head stop meandering for a while, you can express it out but when they just keep running continuously it's hard to catch pace and articulate!!

Bloom Bloom Bloomer!!
Bloomer is my new plant. A few weeks back I had decided to get a plant which bears flowers and I got me 1 today. Now, I am responsible for a life, whose growth and existence relies on me & I know I will take utmost care of my baby bloomer...I so love it!
I was at Marine Drive yesterday. The view of the city from there is exquisite, its not the 1st time I went there but each time I am there, it always crosses my mind that whether I am deserving enough to live such a beautiful life in this vibrant and lively metro. I remember stating in one of my articles,'People of Mumbai are always working, this is not the place where you can just stand and stare.' It gave me a drive to work, work hard enough to feel deserving enough. "Am I deserving enough for it?", is a question that keeps meandering in my head most of the times for most of the things I have, achieve and wish for.
I am back to writing now and it feels good, I have become a little slow because of the big break and so there is a little pressure but I am loving the pressure too! I feel contented ( at least now) about it!
P.S.: I again ended up writing about me.
